Professionals and lay-leaders from Jewish communal organizations are warmly invited to join the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis at the Greater Indianapolis Keshet Leadership Project Summit.

The Keshet Leadership Project is a cohort-based, institutional change process focused on inclusion and celebration of all individuals in our communities, especially our youth, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. The Keshet Leadership Project is a multi-service program that will gather, train, provide resources for, and support a cohort of Jewish institutions in order to assist them in becoming more inclusive of LGBTQ individuals.
Keshet works with institutions along a continuum of inclusion, from those who are just beginning to acknowledge their need for growth, to those who have deep and sustained initiatives in place and who strive to broaden their reach.

The program will kick off with a gathering of the Greater Indianapolis Leadership Project cohort at a day-long Leadership Summit on February 25th in the Laikin Auditorium. At the Leadership Summit, each participating organization will send a team of 2-3 senior level to learn about LGBTQ inclusion and, together, work on an action plan, which they will implement back at their organizations. To assist with this work, each organization will be assigned an inclusion coach from Keshet. Over the course of the organizations will receive 6 coaching sessions as part of the program.

Keshet is a national organization working for the full equality of all LGBTQ Jews and our families in Jewish life.
