JFGI is pleased to be participating in the Western Galilee Partnership2Gether Book club, which will connect 16 Jewish communities in the USA, Budapest, Akko, and Matte Asher.  The first book we will read together is Someone to Run With by David Grossman.  We are asking for registration by November 1, 2020, at which time you will be connected to a WhatsApp group where you can discuss the book with friends from around the world.  On Sunday, January 5, the Jewish Community Library will be hosting a gathering at 9:30am to discuss the book over coffee and bagels and generate questions that we want to address during the international discussion that will take place at 11am that morning.  From 11am-12pm we will be connecting with all 16 communities via Zoom and sharing our diverse thoughts and reflections about this poignant novel.  To register, please contact Avitalbe@jafi.org.  If you would like to check out a copy of the book or have any questions about the Book Club, please contact our Library Coordinator, Marcia Goldstein at library@jfgi.org.
