JFGI is thrilled to welcome four new staffers:

  • Matthew Kramer-Morning, Director of NEXTGen
Matt is responsible for developing initiatives, managing events and creating programs designed to continuously engage Jewish young adults, working with JFGI departments, community agencies, and synagogues. He will educate NEXTGen participants in understanding the need for making a meaningful gift to the Annual Campaign, and develop and implement a campaign plan specifically for NEXTGen donors designed to increase revenue for the community. Matt will work closely with JFGI staff and NEXTGen committee members to identify opportunities for young adult leadership development and participation in national conferences and missions. Previously, he worked for the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas as Director of the Hillel Jewish Student Center at UNLV, as Israel Engagement & Program Associate at Hillel of Silicon Valley in San Jose, and as Logistics Director at Camp Young Judaea Midwest.

  • Nina Price, Director of Jewish Education Initiatives
Nina is responsible for developing a vision for Jewish educational opportunities throughout Greater Indianapolis. She will be working with the leadership and professionals of the BJE, our synagogues and our agencies to help us envision a vibrant network of initiatives, including building capacity among current Jewish educational initiatives, developing new cross-communal programs, and supporting educational engagement projects across the community. Prior to joining JFGI, she was an instructor at Hebrew College (Newton, MA), the Director of Jewish Learning Connections at Combined Jewish Philanthropies in Boston, and Director of Congregational Learning at Congregation Beth El of the Sudbury River Valley (Sudbury, MA), among several other positions in education. Nina attended University of California, Berkeley where she received her undergraduate degree in comparative literature. She received a master's degree in Jewish education and a certificate in Jewish communal service from Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles, as well as a master's degree in special education from Fairmont State University in West Virginia.
