Over the past year, the needs of the community grew at a faster rate over such a short period of time. And as the pandemic continues into 2021, unfortunately these needs continue to grow with no end in sight.
This past year also saw remarkable generosity from across the community, which helped members of the community and our cherished community institutions navigate difficult times.
The community’s Annual Campaign embodies this spirit of what is best in the Greater Indianapolis Jewish community, as donors join together to raise the critical funds for the Federation and its partner agencies to do the important work that is so desperately needed.
As the 2021 Annual Campaign is underway, the community has already raised more than $1.3 million to help meet critical needs. This year’s Campaign builds on the successes of recent years and looks to surpass 
$4 million for the third straight year.
An inspirational Women’s Philanthropy event featuring Mayim Bialik and a Major Gifts program for donors headlined by Jason Alexander were held so far in 2021. Alexander provided an evening of laughs and insights into his world—and his role on Seinfeld—and the influence of his Jewish upbringing.
Following this past year’s unprecedented challenges and the ongoing pandemic, these Campaign events and other efforts are moving the 2021 Annual Campaign forward to raise the funds needed to help the community continue to navigate the uncertainty that lies ahead.
The importance of these dollars to address the community’s many and varied needs cannot be overstated—and the far-reaching impact of these dollars on countless lives cannot be overemphasized.
