Your Dollars, Your Impact! Total Financial Resource Development

For most people and for many years—even decades—the Federation’s fundraising activities have been characterized best by Annual Campaign achievements. While the Annual Campaign is indeed the backbone and lifeblood of the Federation’s financial resource development (FRD) efforts on behalf of the community, it is not the complete picture of dollars raised or the impact that the Federation—and you—have on the community and beyond.
In addition to the more than $4 million raised and distributed annually through the community’s Annual Campaign, millions of additional dollars are raised and distributed each year through:
In the interest of improving transparency and better conveying the total impact of the community’s philanthropy and fundraising efforts through the Federation, the following is a summary of the total dollars raised through the Federation (Total FRD) over the past three years:

  • Donor Advised Funds
  • Community Grants
  • Endowments
  • Tribute Gifts
  • Planned Gifts
  • Special/Emergency Campaigns
  • Directed Giving to Program Areas
  • And more…

As needs in the community continue to grow, as underscored during the pandemic and economic crises over the past year, the Federation and its partners will continue to increase and expand efforts to cultivate meaningful philanthropic support—from a diverse array of resources—to address these growing needs.
This past year brought out the best in so many throughout the community—thank you to everyone for your generosity and for making such a substantial impact on the lives of so many in Greater Indianapolis, across Indiana, in Israel, and around the world, through whatever form your support has taken.
