Prystowsky ATID V: Cohort Program Wrap Up

The Prystowsky ATID V Leadership Program wrapped up its monthly trainings on March 4 with a special session entitled “What Defines a Jewish Community?” This was a culmination of more than a year of sessions during which the 15 Indianapolis program participants learned about the different facets of the Federation, the local agencies, and the issues facing the Indianapolis Jewish community.
From here, they look forward to where they may contribute as future leaders. The featured speaker for the evening was JFNA President and CEO, Eric Fingerhut, giving the D’var Torah on Parsha “Ki Tisa.” Fingerhut spoke of Moses’ leadership of the Jewish people, and he brought the group’s attention to the importance of being leaders locally, as well as being connected to the entire family of 146 Jewish Federations around the country.
“As you graduate from this incredible program, let’s remember the power not only of this community and your responsibility as the leaders of Indianapolis, but also remember you are part of the collective,” Fingerhut said.
Because of COVID-19, this cohort has not yet travelled to Israel, but it is the hope of the organizers that they will be able to travel in the Spring of 2022.
Thank you to Bonnie and Dr. Eric Prystowsky for being generous funders of the program, and to Stacy Segal and Offer Korin, co-chairs for this cohort.
